Dr. Andy Nuijens joined the EVCOT staff in August of 2008. He came on board full-time in 2010 after working in general practice in Wilsonville for 10 years. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2000. He enjoys the challenges that emergency medicine provides. Dr. Andy resides in Southwest Portland with his wife Amy and their four dogs Morgan, Risky, Ernie and Boone, and one cat, Rachel, who runs the show. When Dr. Andy is not working hard at EVCOT, he enjoys bicycling, gardening, motorcycling, antiquing, and exploring the surrounding wine country and Portland cultural scene.
