Dr. Jamie Warren was raised in the beautiful, scenic community of Corbett, Oregon. Located in the Columbia River Gorge, this rural backdrop was a perfect place to care for a menagerie of family pets, including chickens, horses, a llama, cats, cockatiels and even a box turtle. Exposure to a variety of animals and first-hand experience with the human-animal bond cultivated her desire to become a veterinarian from a very young age. After graduation from high school, Dr. Warren attended Oregon State University and completed a Bachelor’s of science in Animal Science in 2004. Dr. Warren received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2008, graduating as summa cum laude, the highest academic honor awarded.
Fueled by the desire to be a knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate veterinarian, Dr. Warren was accepted to one of the country’s top veterinary internships at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Upon receiving her certificate of completion from this intense program and winning the “Intern of the Year” award, Dr. Warren was fortunate to finally return home to the beautiful state of Oregon.
Dr. Warren has a passion for emergency medicine and has exclusively practiced emergency and critical care since returning home to Oregon in 2009. She has a strong interest in diagnostic ultrasound, emergency surgery, and medical management of the critically ill patient.
