Dr. Jonathan Wisniewski received his undergraduate degree (Bachelors of Arts) from Claremont McKenna College in 2007 and completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 from Oregon State University. After graduating from Oregon State University, Jon completed a rotating small animal internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists in New York, New York. Following his internship, Jon began working as an emergency veterinarian in Eugene, Oregon at the Emergency Veterinary Hospital and spent several years in the Eugene/Springfield area. During his time in Eugene, Jon also worked part time at the Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin. He came on as a full time veterinarian in July 2014 and has been working at EVCOT since that time. He is an avid aquarist and spends much of his free time observing and caring for the inhabitants of a mixed reef aquarium at home with dozens of species of coral, marine invertebrates and fish. He also lives with two dogs, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Tyrion and a Shih Tzu named Gizmo (aka Gizmoto).
Dr. Jonathan Wisniewski assumed ownership upon passing of his mother, JoAnne Wisniewski, on December 29, 2018. He will continue to run and manage the practice in his mother’s memory as a family business. He is committed to providing affordable emergency services and compassionate medicine. He believes firmly in treating his employees fairly and with respect and is committed to making the emergency experience as stress free as possible for the clients and family members of the pets that we treat.
