Dr. Williams received her Bachelors of Science from Oregon State University in 1974 and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 1978. She has worked in the field of emergency medicine for most of her veterinary career after a short stint in general practice. She opened the Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin in 1995 with Dr. Jo-Anne Wisniewski. Dr. Williams is an avid traveler. Most of her travels have centered around wildlife viewing. She has always been an animal person and has cared for many types of pets throughout her life. Right now, her little companions are Barbie, Skipper and Midge, her feline boys. Barbie (Barbosa) was a stray hit by a car with a fractured hip from the trauma. Skipper and Midge were feral kittens that she rescued from the post office before they were hit by the mail trucks. Hairballs are a large part of her life.
