Dr. Rob Siefken joined the EVCOT emergency team in August of 2018. He graduated from Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Following graduation from vet school, Dr. Siefken completed a one-year Emergency and Critical Care internship at Dove Lewis Animal Hospital in Portland Oregon. Continuing his time with ER care he relocated to Salem to help VCA Salem’s practice to 24/7 care. Dr. Siefken enjoys all kinds of cases with dogs and cats and the occasional exotic pet. His areas of interest are hospice care for pets, research and development, and surgery. In his free time he enjoys all things outdoors like mushroom hunting in the fall, hot tubbing outside, hiking, and biking and walking his three dogs; a black lab named Henry, a three-legged Chihuahua named Delilah and a little feisty Maltese named Fletcher.
